'The Influence Project’ exhibition celebrated pioneering black musicians and their impact on contemporary sound. It showed musical connections raising awareness to where it began and some of the characters involved in changing the shape of music. The Project also illustrated connections to contemporary artists so that younger generations could appreciate the significance of these relationships.
